Samira Abbasgholizadeh Rahimi Women in Engineering (WIE) Affinity Group Chapter founder and president
Samira has been studying her PhD of industrial engineering at Laval University, Canada since 2012. She achieved her BSc in 2011 in industrial engineering field.
Memberships: She is a member of Interuniversity Research Center on Entreprise Networks, Logistics and Transportation (CIRRELT), Centre interdisciplinaire de recherche en réadatation et integration sociale (CIRRIS), Graduate Student member of Institute of Industrial Engineers (IIE) , Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) , IEEE Women In Engineering and Canadian Operational Research Society (CORS).
Areas of interest: Her main research interests are application of Risk analysis, and Operational Research techniques in Health care, Medical decision making, Quality Control & Reliability engineering, and Simulation (DES). She has published several research papers in high impact journals and international conferences.
