Valérie Dorval, M.Sc, Ing jr.

Biography

Valérie is currently completing her Ph.D. degree in industrial engineering, at Laval University, under a joint supervision agreement with France’s Université de Valenciennes et du Hainaut-Cambrésis (UVHC).

Memberships: She is a member of Interuniversity Research Center on Entreprise Networks, Logistics and Transportation (CIRRELT), Centre interdisciplinaire de recherche en réadatation et integration sociale (CIRRIS), Centre interdisciplinaire de recherche en opérationalisation du développement durable (CIRODD), Institut Hydro-Québec en environnement, développement et société (Institut EDS), Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) , IEEE Women In Engineering.

Areas of interest: operations research applied to healthcare systems, planning and scheduling, simulation, uncertainty, continuous improvement, performance indicators and decision support system.
